The challenge
No brand. No channels.
No customers yet.
Hans Airways set out to launch long-haul flights between the UK and India. It started with no existing brand, sales channels or customers.
Ross joined on contract as Head of Marketing & Digital Strategy, reporting to the CCO and CEO. Alongside the brand and go-to-market plan, the airline needed a way to sell tickets. That meant reservations, a booking engine and payments, all ready before launch.
The approach
Lean systems.
Launch-ready.
A start-up airline needs to sell tickets reliably from day one, without the cost and lead time of a legacy reservation stack.
Choose a fit-for-purpose platform.
Select AeroCRS as a cloud reservation and booking system suited to a new carrier’s scale and budget.
Configure the commercial set-up.
Set up routes, fares, inventory, ancillaries and payments to match the airline’s commercial plan.
Connect the funnel.
Link the website, booking engine, analytics and marketing so every channel could be measured from first visit to ticket.
Launch and learn.
Open sales, monitor the booking path closely and fix problems quickly.
